Putting your feet into a pair of Nike Inflict 3’s is like stepping boldly into greatness. For years, the Inflict line has defined what it means to combine comfort with performance in wrestling shoes. The entire upper of this shoe is constructed with a breathable mesh, providing a lightweight and form-fitting feel. The midsoles are designed to keep your feet low and close to the mat for superior traction. The gum rubber split outsole offers grip in multiple directions, and allows for ultimate flexibility and movement. They lace up nice and tight, and secure at the top with a velcro-secured lace strap. Now on their third version, Nike continues to deliver quality, comfort, and style in the Infict, and that doesn't appear to be changing anytime soon. Before your next match, lace up a pair of Nike Inflict III's and be prepared for a great performance!
Features:
- Breathable and form-fitting mesh upper for ventilation and fast drying
- Full-length lasted midsole to keep your feet low to the ground and keep great traction with the mat
- Split gum rubber outsole provides flexibility and grib in all directions
- The forefoot is designed to wrap nicely around the toebox and keep your feet snug and comfortable
- Built-in velcro secured lace cover strap
- Weight: 8.7 oz.
Sizing:
The Nike Inflict 3 runs fairly small compared to other wrestling shoes and very small compared to most street shoes. We advise that you go up a half size to a full size from what you would normally wear.
“ The Nike Inflict 3 is a great shoe for beginner and elite wrestlers alike. It has great flexibility and is very lightweight. The Inflict is also great for wrestlers with WIDE feet.”
“ The Nike Inflict is one of my favorite wrestling shoes because of its great ankle support that allowed me to move at a high pace and make quick movements without the worry of rolling my ankle.”
These are a little bit of everything - comfortable, durable, flexible and light weight. Highly recommend these.
My foot is almost exactly 11" from heel to big toe, and end of toe touches end w an 11.5. I have somewhat wide feet, and these Nikes are definitely wider and more comfy than Adidas impact, but I still had to widen laces out. It feels a bit loose around midsole but snug in toe box. Not sure how to answer sizing survey as I have wide feet, shoe is listed as wide, and Ive only tried adidas impact briefly
Great shoe!
I've had the shoes for over a year, they're great and have held up well. My favorite thing about this shoe is they're comfortable fitting and the Velcro to hold the laces is very convenient.
The shoes are very nice and they had my size, which is very nice since some places don't have all sizes.
Very comfortable shoes. Great fit. Great quality and great colorways.
We come here all the time for all wrestling supplies. We chose the Nike Inflicts for this seasons shoes. My son said they were very comfortable and were so light.
Shoes are very comfortable and breath well. They mold to the feet very well. Not a lot of time needed to break them in.
This is probably the most comfortable shoe I have bought. There is so much room and they are very light with a great amount of grip.
These shoes adjust well to my feet and I enjoy the style, the color and feel.
The shoes are very good with air flow. It allows them to cool down in-between matches. The flexibility is amazing as well. Also allows you to get out of tight situations with a great grip. All around great pair of shoes.
Very good quality shoe for the price and has great grip and are very comfortable and also matched my schools colors
These shoes have very good support and grip.
Went in for a pair of wrestling shoes. Nike had the best selection to chose from. Shoes are very comfortable and provide the best support on the mat. Would definitely buy Nike wrestling shoes again.
I like these shoes. They are very comfortable and light. I highly recommend them.
Shoes are great with flexibility. Bottom has quality grip. They're breathable and lightweight.
The shoes are very comfortable and provide a lot of ankle support. They are also light, with good grip on the bottom.
These shoes are great and study. They have great grip. This is my second pair. They last long as well.
These are very comfortable. The colors of the shoes are nice and poppin! The grip is nice and has a lot of it.
The Nike Inflicts are comfortable and breath well.
The shoes are very nice and are comfortable. They are also very durable.
Very stylish, but tend to be slippery on some mats.
Absolutely awsome shoe I have black and gold pair. They are super comfortable and have pretty good grip but the back of mine ripped so now I have to get a new pair of shoes and I’m only about at the middle of my season.
These shoes are comfortable and feel really nice when you put them on. I like the grip of the shoes and lightness. I feel like it has good material and will be long lasting. 4.5 stars
Very comfortable when they are new. Fit well. Tight in places you want them to be tight. Very durable. Was able to wear the same pair for 3 years. Easy to break in. I would recommend these shoes.
Doesn't rip. Durable and good tight fit. Looks good. Doesn't take long to break them in. They have good cushioning for your feet when you're jumping and practicing.
Very comfortable shoes. Laces make my ankle feel secure. Split sole makes my foot feel more flexible.
Good shoe. Very comfortable. One of my favorites. Like the different color variations. My favorite is the Gold ones. Very durable. Good grip around the ankle. Would like full sole under the feet though.
The Inflict 3 is very comfortable and has a great grip on the mat. A solid shoe to start the new season.
They have good flexibility and ankle moment. They had good grip and weren't heavy.
Great shoe! Very comfortable. Great grip strength. Light on my feet. Would definitely buy again once mine wear down.
These shoes are very durable and I have gone two years with this pair. Every time I wore these shoes they were always super comfy.
Shoes are very well made and have held up for years. They are very comfortable shoes and have a good amount of bend to them so they don't feel too stiff. These were by far my favorite wrestling shoes that I've ever owned.
Very comfortable shoe. Size fits like a glove. Matches my grip strength perfectly.
The shoes are lightweight and breathable. They also provide a lot of grip.
Looks great and has good grip. Good selection of colors.
Very comfortable. Has good grip. Provides ankles support.
The shoes are very durable and the grip is exceptional. Color variation is also great.
Shoes are very comfortable while wrestling. They are roomy and don't feel too tight. I also like how they don't get dirty fast and they have a good grip on the mat. So when they have just been cleaned, I don't slip.
These shoes are amazing. They fit perfectly and the soles are very good. The grip on them is amazing and very good for being on the mat. I was able to get this shoe at the store and fit perfectly in them.
Very comfortable shoe! Can move around very well. Nice grip. Nice support at ankles. Nice design and breathable!
Honestly for the price they're worth it. The regular Nike shoes that they sell in big 5 Dont have much grip compared to these so this is a step up.
Sick breathable shoes with great grip. Sweet looks too
Great product! Still goin on strong after 1yr of use!
Best wrestling shoe I've ever put on.

My son currently has the Adidas Impact wrestling shoes in a size 8 and they are too small now by probably half a Size. He can get them on but they are tight all over. I’m wondering what size I should buy in Nike. He’s looking at these and the Freeks
Hello, It is better to go up half a size from your wrestler's regualr shoes size. So if your son wears a size 8.5 in street shoes he will be more confortable in a size 9 Nike Freek.

Are they easy to keep clean since they are white? Ty
All white shoes are very difficult to keep clean but eventually will get dirty. The shoes get scuffed up pretty quick. I would say they are only going to stay "clean" for the 1st week.

My black and Vegas gold inflicts back busted and they are unwearable I love the shoes like so much but I’m not going to spend that much for a new pair of shoes being it’s my senior year what shoes do you recommend?
Sorry to hear about your shoes. The inflicts are great shoes, I would recommend the Nike Takedowns they have a very close fit and feel to the Nike Inflicts and have an almost identical sole. They are also a bit cheaper as well.

What headgear would best go with these
are they fuckin dope or not.
If I wear a 9 in the matflexes and an 8.5 in freeks what size do I get for the inflicts?
I’ve been worn aggressors all my high school career wrestling but for my senior year I want a change up. Would these be a shoe that I should change to?
The Inflict is a great shoe. The only difference of the shoes is the grip and flexibility. The Inflict will not have the same amount of grip as the Aggressor. The flexibilty of the Inflict is far superior than the Aggressor. It would be a great shoe to make the switch to, but it would just take some time to get use to the new style of shoe.

I'm a size 10 in Agressor 3's. Would a size 10.5 be good to go with ?
Do you have old gold shoelaces to go with the Inflict 3 Old Gold and Black?
Does this product come in wide sizes
Unfornuately, these shoes do not come in wide. But these shoes do have a wider feel to them than the other shoes out there. The Nike Freeks are a good option if you are looking for shoes that are wider in size. Another good option for wide shoes would be the Adidas Mat Wizard or the Adidas Impact.
Answered by Joey P. on 16 Oct, 2017
Do you have these in wide sizes.
These shoe do not come in a "wide" version, but they do have a bigger toe box than normal shoes. If you are interested in shoes that have a "wider" feel to it the Nike Freeks and Adidas Mat Wizards are a good option to look into.

I wear size 9.5 in aggresors. Inflict 2's (size 10.5) were very tight on me. What size should I get for Inflict 3's?
The Inflict 3 sizing is based off the Inflict 2, so they would have the same size run. If the 10.5 were too snug it'll be best to go with an 11. Is the shoe too tight in the width or length?

Inflict 3s vs Hypersweep Lightest? Most Comfortable? Softest sole? Recommended for weight lifting and strength training? Why? Any other information on each shoe or any other one I should look into would be appreciated! Thank you
If you are looking for a good shoe to work out the Nike Inflict is better for you.The Inflict has a better fit and is alot more comfortable. The HyperSweep is very narrow and does not allow much room for the foot to breathe easy. They are also very limited in stock and are usally out of stock with every shoe dealer. We will be getting more HyperSweeps in September. The Inflict has a flat bottom compared to the Hypersweep which has grooves on the sole which might make you a little unbalanced if you are using them for lifting. The Inflict will also last longer. We have had customer return their HyperSweeps in a matter of weeks because the sole would just rip apart. If you have more questions, feel free to contact us at 888-887-8893.

I ordered the Aggressor 3's for my daughter a month ago and she's worn them a few times and she complains about them slipping on the mat. They also tore slightly on top. A teammate tried them out and also said they slipped occasionally. One of the reasons I bought them was because of the reviews of a great grip. Any suggestions? Can I return them even if they've been worn? They're not as "tacky" on the bottom as other shoes her teammates wear. Thank you,
If possible, may you please send us a picture of the shoes to support@wrestlingmart.com. We would like to see if the shoe is defective or if we may accept as a return. If you have questions, feel free to call us at 888-887-8893.

I wear an 8 1/2 in Nike Freek shoes. What size inflict should I buy?
The Nike Freek and the Inflict both run the same in size. You should be good with the size you have now.

Does the Nike inflict 3 run a little small? I have a inflict 2 and it seamed to run very small.
We haven’t had anyone say the Inflict 3 is running small. The Hypersweep is the only Nike Wrestling shoe that has been running small. If your Inflict 2’s ran a bit small I would say to go up a half size for your Nike Inflict 3, just to be on the safe side.
Answered by Joey P. on 13 Apr, 2017
Do these have the same hard midsole like the combat speeds or are they a true split sole?
They have a sole similar to the Combat Speeds. The sole the Inflict has is way more comfortable than the Combat's.

Would you go with nike freeks or inflicts? Im just looking for a good all around light and flexable shoe
The Inflicts are alot lighter than the Freeks. But the Freeks have a better comfort level. But if your looking for an all aroud light weight and flexible shoe, I would stick with the Inflicts.

My son has six plus years on Brazillian Jiu Jitsu with alot of competition. He has also started wrestling. He is very small but extremely quick and fast and has feet on the narrow side. He is looking for a shoe that would fit and not slow him down. He fits into a size 8 Nike Speedsweep which I think is a youth shoe. Would he be the same in a Nike Inflict 3 or Asics Cael V7? Thanks
Youth and adult wrestling shoe sizes bleed together. For example, a size 4 youth shoe is the same as a size 4 adult shoe. If you're looking for a faster shoe, I'd highly recommend the Nike Inflict or Adidas Varner. Shoes like the Aggressor or Cael V7 have a lot more grip than the Inflict or Varner : )

Hey, I ordered the inflicts in Columbia blue/gray in a 10 (I'm a 9.5 in street shoes) and they arrived and fit, but I figured since I'm growing, a 10.5 would be better. I'm in the middle of doing the exchange sheet and I've got everything except for what the sheet is calling "style #". I've been looking all over the site to try and find it but I can't. What's the deal? Thanks!
The information you have to that point should be good enough. Our shipping team will know what to do when the shoe arrives. You can also just put the name on the order, order number, and the size you are interested in switching to.

Hi, I was wondering if the Asics Cael's and Nike Inflicts fit the same. My daughter wants a pair of Inflicts. She currently wears a 6.5 in the Cael's with a little room to spare. So basically what size Inflicts should I get?
The Nike Inflicts run small compared to other wrestling shoes like the Cael. I'd consider going 1/2 a size up : )
Answered by Dave Applegate on 01 Dec, 2016
I wear a women's size 7 1/2. What size do you recommend I order for these shoes? I'm not sure since they are men's size but also run small.
It is difficult to say exactly what size to go with because there is no official conversion rate for men’s to women’s wrestling shoes. But from personal experience working with customers in store, we would recommend going with a size 6.5.
Answered by Joey P. on 29 Nov, 2016
Is this product in men's sizes or women's?
Are these Nike wrestling shoes sized like other Nike sneakers or like Nike cleats? I'm trying to figure out what size to order.
Unfortunately, Nike Wrestling has different sizing between other Nike sub lines. If you have a few seconds, will you give us a call so we can help pick the best size for you? : )
Answered by Dave Applegate on 14 Nov, 2016
If I'm a size 7 in street shoes like vans, what size should I choose for the inflicts?
Nike shoes tend to run very small... even for wrestling shoes. I'd suggest sizing up to a size 7.5 and potentially even an 8 depending on how tight your Vans are : )

do they make a wide like EEE?
Unfortunately, Nike does not make a wide version of any wrestling shoes, including the Inflict. I'd highly recommend checking out the Nike Takedown. It is one of the widest shoes we carry.

If I am a size 5 will the size 6 fit and have a little room
Since the Nike Inflict 3 does not go down to size 5, it's hard for me to say. Every wrestling shoe fits a little differently. Even shoes within the same brand, such as the Nike Freek and the Nike Inflict aren't exactly the same size. In general, the Inflict runs a little small, so I think going up to a size 6 would not be too much of a size difference, depending on what shoe you are comparing to.

do you have any idea of when they would be shipping in september? because eastbay is taking way to long
Nessa,
For the new colors of the Nike Inflict 3 that are coming in September, everyone is pretty much in the same boat. We don't have an exact ship date for them and won't have one until we physically have the shoes here in our warehouse ready to ship. Until that happens, the delivery date is out of our control. The availability of the shoes in this case depends on our vendor, Nike. Once they get all the shoes in from overseas and ship them out to distributors like us and Eastbay, we will be ready and eager to ship them to you as quickly as possible. I can relate to your frustration with waiting a long time for pre-order shoes. We've been out of many sizes and colors for months and would love to be able to get them back in stock for our customers. Although, we are always happy when new customers come over from our competitors, like Eastbay, I do not believe they are intentionally holding out on you, everyone is just waiting for the shoes to arrive. Please feel free to contact us for any further details. Thanks!

Casey, The Hypersweep should be coming in around the same time as the Nike Inflict 3. Currently, we are expecting to have them in late September, but do not have an exact date. The time frame for getting new shoes in from our manufacturers is always subject to change by weeks at a time.

Which shoe is better for speed and lightness inflicts or jbs?
Trying to pick between the Nike Inflict 3 and the JB Elite V2.0 is very difficult. The two shoes really are the same style, similar weight, both split sole. More than anything, it just comes down to your personal brand preference between ASICS and Nike. One might argue that the JB's are made to fit the style of Jordan Burroughs, so they must be faster and lighter. That said, the Inflict is time tested and proven over many years that it's one of the best split-sole wrestling shoes on the market. Regardless of what shoes you get, the way you train (and maybe a little genetics) is going to make the biggest impact on your speed. If you remember, Jordan Burroughs won a World championship wearing Matflexes a few years ago. I say, pick the one you think you'll enjoy wearing more :-)

Which shoes would you recommend better the Nike Freeks or Nike inflict 3s
The Nike Inflict and Nike Freek are both great wrestling shoes. If you prefer a more grippy & supportive shoe, I'd suggest the Nike Freek. If you are looking for a more quick and flexible shoe, I'd suggest the Nike Inflict : )

When will these shoes be restocked?
We will restock the Nike Inflicts in time for next season. Our last update from Nike led us to believe that shipment will be in August : )

I have a pretty narrow foot. Do you think the inflict would be ok for that?
Yes. The Nike Inflict will fit a narrow foot well. I would still recommend going up at least half a size. The Nike Inflict tends to run small : )

if i wear a 10&1/2 in Asics....is the sizing similiar for the nike inflicts?
Topher - sizing with Nike Inflict 3 or any other wrestling shoe is nearly impossible to determine accurately without actually trying on the shoes. Even within the ASICS brand, the models run differently. For example the Cael V7 typically is about a half to a full size smaller than the Aggressor 2. However, in my experience, the Nike Inflict 3 does seem to run similarly to most ASICS shoes, like the Cael or the JB Elite V2, which are a little on the smaller size compared to the Aggressor or most Adidas shoes, which tend to be more "true to size". If you're comparing to an ASICS Aggressor 2, I would probably go up a half size.

When are the white/gray/red inflict 3's size 6.5 are going to be in stock again
Isaac, the next shipment of Nike shoe we'll be getting should arrive this fall - around September or October of 2016 (we hope). As far as I know, they will be keeping the white/red/grey Inflict 3 as a color, but we won't we 100% certain until it gets closer to the time that the shoes become available again.

What is the big difference between the Nike Inflicts and the Nike Takedowns?
That is a great question! The Nike Inflict and Nike Takedown have identical soles. The shoes start to differ when you look at the uppers. Nike Inflicts have a much more padded material that many of our customers say is very comfortable. The Nike Takedown has a thinner mesh upper that is extremely flexible. If you’re near our showroom in California, I’d highly recommend trying both on. Choosing the right wrestling shoe comes down to preference. It’s the wrestler who wins, not his shoes : )

can i place an order on the navy before it is back in stock so i can be assured i can get it before it is sold out again ?
We ordered enough Nike Inflict 3s to keep us stocked through the entire 2016-2017 season. We expect to be getting our Nike shipment sometime in August and will be placing the shoes on pre-order a few months before that date. As for right now, we have been working diligently with Nike to secure another shipment of Nike Inflicts before season, but do not have any visibility into if we are going to get them.

If I'm a size 11 in normal shoes what size would you recommend??
The Nike Inflict tends to run a little small. I would recommend a size 11.5 : ) If that size doesn't fit well for any reason, you can always switch it for another size.

When will the white and red inflicts be back in stock
Unfortunately, we have little visibility into whether we'll get another Nike Inflict 3 re-shipment before season. At WrestlingMart, we did a poor job guessing the popularity of this shoe for this season and learned from our errors (like all great wrestlers : ). We will have plenty of Nike Inflicts and Nike Freeks for the upcoming season!

I wear a size 10.5 in regular shoes what size should i get for the inflicts
The Nike Inflicts tend to run a little small. I'd recommend sizing up half a size to a size 11 : )

Do you guys recommend this shoe
Yes. We highly recommend the Nike Inflict at WrestlingMart. The shoe has had almost 0 returns, is very durable and our staff universally thinks it is one of the most comfortable shoes on the market.

If I'm a 7 in gym shoes what size should I get for the inflicts
I would recommend trying a 7.5 in the Nike Inflicts if your gym shoe is a size 7. The Nike Inflicts tend to run a little small.

When will the nike hypersweeps arrive?
Unfortunately, the Nike Hypersweeps are delayed due to a manufacturing issue. Nike has made a decision (which we at WrestlingMart stand behind) to delay the shoe until the issues have been fixed. Nike strives to only release the highest quality wrestling shoes on the market.

Is it ok to machine wash these shoes? If so how should I wash them?
Wrestling shoes can get pretty disgusting and although most manufacturers recommend you don't wash them, we understand the need to. You have to keep that ringworm and other wrestling funk at bay! : ) The best way to wash wrestling shoes is gently with cold wash cycles and then letting them air dry. Never put your Nike Inflicts, or any other wrestling shoe, in the dryer!

Would it be possible for me to reserve a pair of the White/Uni Red/Gray Inflicts in 10.5? THanks
We having been communicating with Nike to get more Nike Inflicts in store and online as quickly as possible. At this time however, we have no visibility as to when their production will be able to keep up with our needs : )

When will there be a restock??
We expect our next shipment of Nike Inflicts sometime in February : ) The Nike Inflict wrestling shoes are one of the best selling wrestling shoes this season and Nike has been struggling to keep up with the demand.

When will the grey/white/orange be in stock in size 11?
We expect to get our next shipment of Nike Inflicts sometime in January. We just rolled out a new website feature which will let our customers know as soon as new shoes get back in stock. When selecting a size on the Nike Inflict, please click the little bell icon and we will send you an e-mail the second we get them in! : )

If I'm a size 4.5 would a pair of size 6 inflicts fit me really big ??? Or just a little bit ? I would want to get a pair of inflicts . Thanks :)
I understand your frustration! The Nike Inflicts are a very cool looking wrestling shoe : ) A 1.5 size jump on the Nike Inflicts would likely leave a lot of room and we recommend a snugger wrestling shoe fit for the best performance on the mat.
