    Grip was solid and ankle support was solid. I have a wide foot to begin with so it's not fair to pick on the shoe, however it was extra tight. The reflective toebox is an awesome detail, but the reflective surface began to split after about 5 practices. Good shoe unless you have a fat foot or put a lot of miles on them.

    When I first put on my Hypersweeps, they felt like I was supported all over my foot. They feel very comfortable once they are broken in. They have good grip as well. They were so good I had to buy them again.

    These are the best Nike Hypersweeps you can own. They're so comfortable and the grip is amazing. This is the second pair I've owned and out of all the shoes here I would strongly recommend getting these shoes.

    Grip was very strong. Great for shooting, and the cloth on the nose was great for sliding and low moving. Had great ankle support. Not too high or low, so it didn't feel like it was digging into you. Overall great shoes!

    The shoe was initially narrow, however after like two practices the shoe broke in and worked like a charm. I've had them for about a year now and they've held up well. I'm looking forward to practicing and competing with them in the new season. The price point was steep but the shoe suffices.

    Definitely a "bad***" shoe. Slim, fast, durable. So sexy you’ll want to marry with these shoes on your girlfriend. Comes in two colors of great design and great grip to destroy an enemy. You’ll definitely represent with these shoes and will never fail to flex them off to everyone.

    I bought these in a size 12 and have worn them one time, they are a bit tight, I was wondering if I could exchange them for a full refund or exchange them for a 12.5

    Hey so I wear a size 12 pair of Asics jb elite 2s and they give me a good amount of breathing room. For hypersweeps, what size should I get? Do Nike and Asics use the same sizes?

    Hypersweeps are really narrow and run small. It would be best to go up a half size from the size you are currently wearing.

    Does this shoe come in a wide. Nike seems to run narrow.

    The Hypersweeps do run pretty narrow. If you have wide feet, the Hypersweep may not be a good choice.

    The Hypersweeps start at size 5.5. They are narrow so customers tend to go up a half size from their normal size.

    Size wise my done wears a 9 in Nike sneakers what size will he need in these... his last shoes were asics size 9 and fit perfect.. Adidas size 9 are way to big

    The Hypersweeps run a bit narrow and customers have been going up a half size from their usual wrestling shoe size.

    East Bay sells these for 149.99 your selling them for 169.99. Do you match I can't find info on price garantee..

    Lowest price gte means you match? Found them cheaper...they are out of stock, what do you need from me for proof?

    Yes we will match the lowest price of a product as long as it's not from Amazon or Ebay, but the place that we are price matching with has to have that same specific size and color in stock for us to price match with them, If not we can't perform a price match. To get the new price you would have to come in the store or call us and make the order over phone.

    These fit really snug. If you are a 7 in Asics it would be good to go with a size 8 for the Hypersweeps.

    The Freeks only start at a size 8 so I think you may be referring to the Inflicts. For the Hypersweeps it would be good to go with the 7.5.

    Im normally a 11 in normal shoes and I ordered a pair of freaks 11.5 and they came out a lil big so what size do you recommend for the hypersweeps 11 or 11.5

    It would be good to go with a size 11.5. The Hypersweeps have a small toe box and are pretty tight.

    If your Freeks feel tight in a 9.5, HyperSweeps are just as snug. It would be better to go with a 10.5 for HyperSweep.

    I am interested in buying this shoe, but I have wide feet should I go half a size bigger or just go with the freaks

    If you have wide feet the Nike Hypersweep would not be the perfect fit for you. It is really narrow compared to the Nike Freek. If you have wide feet the Nike Freek would be the better fitting shoe for you. The Freek has more room in the toe box for better comfort.

    I have a high arched foot would you recommend the hypersweeps to someone with feet high arched?

    The Nike Hypersweep does not have much cusion wear your arch is. The Nike Freek would be a better option for you. It has the best comfort level out of all the Nike shoes.

    Is there going to be new colorway's for hypersweeps soon, and what colors?

    At the moment we are not too sure if Nike is going to be releasing new colors in the Hypersweep. Nike has not given us a notice on weather they will be releasing new colors for the shoes.

    I would recommend to go with a size 10 in the Hypersweep. The Hypersweep is known to run really small.

    Does the reflection only show up during pictures or would it show up on spotlight as well?

    It only shows up when the flash of a camera is hitting the spot where the reflector is.

    Does Nike run bigger or smaller in shoe sizes compared to Asics?

    Nike and Asics have similar sizing. However, the Nike Hypersweeps are running really small and tight. Customers have been going up in size in order to fit properly into the Hypersweeps.

    For the hypersweep shoe are the colors two different for right and left? I scrolled thru the pics you have and they show white on the left.

    The white only comes out when you take a picture of the shoe with the flash on. The shoes are all black with the lime green eyelets.

    The Hypersweeps are tournament only shoes. If you are going to be wearing them for practice and tournaments they will not last as long.

    I would go up 1 whole size, so an 11.5 would be good. The size 12 would be too big.

    Just checked out Nikes website for shoe lace length and it goes by eyelets on the shoe. There is 14 eyelets (7 each side) so the length will be 72". If you need more info for the laces check out the link.

    When do you expect to have more sizes in stock? Can a size be ordered?

    At the moment we are not too sure if we will be receiving any more Hypersweeps. Nike is also out of stock on the Hypersweep. These shoes are a really hot item and once they are in stock, they usually sell out within a few days. Unfortunately an order cannot be placed for the Hypersweeps at the moment.

    The black Hypersweep is the one with the white stripe. The white stripe only appears on the shoe when you take a picture of the shoe with the flash on.

    I got these in a 9.5 and when I walk the material that is on the inside of my foot kind of moves and makes a cracking noise, is that because they are too wide on my foot?

    That might be the reason the shoes are making the funny sound. The Hypersweeps are a really narrow shoe and are usually meant for competition only. If you are wearing them for practice and tournaments, they won't last long.

    I was wondering if these shoes rip easily because my last shoes i got were the nike freeks and those ripped very fast and I don't want this to happen again. How durable are these shoes?

    Nike shoes tend to run small and the Hypersweep is the smallest on the Nike line. If you're already wearing a Freek, I'd try a 10.5 in the Hypersweep.

    I've worn my vintage Nike Greco wrestling shoes for many years. Looking for replacements some years ago, I found a Nike Classic shoe. Cant find anything similar now. My shoes are duck taped and shoe gooed. Time for replacement. What do you recommend that's similar?

    Those are some bitchin old school shoes. Make sure to save your Nike Grecos... some people will pay big money for those : ) I'd say the Nike Takedown or Inflict are probably the closest to the Nike Grecos. The Hypersweep is a great replacement shoe though. Our staff loves them!

    I see that the Red White and Blue colorway will be up for sale sometime in November, my question is will there be other colorways coming as well? I have seen pictures online of potential colorways and I'm curious as to whether or not they will definitely be for sale this year. Thanks

    Nike has decided not to release any more colorways of the Hypersweep this season. The companies that acted like the red/white/blue Hypersweep was available for sale had to cancel all of their customer's orders. Hopefully, next year we will have a few more Hypersweep colors to choose from! : )

    The Hypersweep does run a little bit tighter than the Freek or the Inflict. I would recommend going up half a size.

    These shoes would be considered more of a competition only shoe, but you can wear them for practice. The longevity of the shoe depends on how much work you are going to be putting them through. If you’re going to be wearing them for both competition and practice they won’t last as long.

    The sizing on the Matflex is different compared to the Hypersweep. ASICS and Nike have different sizing for their wrestling shoes. The Hypersweep is a bit more snug, so I would recommend going up half a size.

    I wear a 10.5 in JB elite V2's. What size will this translate to in the hypersweep?

    The Nike Hypersweep is a solid sole wrestling shoe with a lot of grip and a surprising amount of flexibility. The ASICS JB Elite V2 is a split sole wrestling shoe. If you're looking for a shoe with the highest amount of flexibility possible, the JB Elite V2 will still have the Hypersweep beat. That being said, the Nike Hypersweep is Nike's top-of-the-line wrestling shoe and has a lot more grip than the JB Elite, without sacrificing too much flexibility.

    Do they glow in the dark?

    Although it might look like it a little bit from our pictures, the Nike Hypersweeps do not glow in the dark. They have a special reflective material on them that changes from black to white in the presence of a flash of light. If you're on the final mat, your Hypersweeps will look different in all the pictures people are taking!
