Cliff Keen Single Leg Shooting Sleeve: Zero Bulk. Zero Mat Burn.

The Cliff Keen Single Leg Shooting Sleeve is perfect for wrestlers who want to protect their knees, without the extra bulk that comes with a knee pad. It is made of a highly durable knit poly blend fabric that can stretch and mold to the contour of your knee and provides light compression. The compression and moderately thick material will keep the ligaments in your knee joint warm and comfortable, to help reduce injuries and keep you feeling more flexible throughout the match. The outer surface of this material is made to slide easily on a wrestling mat, allowing you to penetrate better on shots and prevent mat burn. It is sold individually, rather than in pairs, because many wrestlers tend to use just one sleeve on their lead leg or shooting leg. However, if you switch your stance often or have a variety of attacks from both sides, you may want to consider getting one for each leg. Knee injuries are one of the most common types of injuries in wrestling. While some of those injuries are simply from impact, most come from strains or pulls in the ligaments surrounding the knee. These can mostly be avoided with proper warm up and stretching, along with something to keep the knee warm…like a knee sleeve. The Cliff Keen Knee Sleeve is a must have for any wrestler or grappler who wants to keep their knees healthy without adding any unnecessary bulk. Because the material is very stretchy, this is one-size-fits-most and comes in both youth and adult.

The shooting sleeve is very good and protects my knees. It slides very good when I take a shot. I love it.

These shooting sleeves were great, letting me be able to be free without any discomfort. Great colors, no problems, great padding. I love the switch on the colors.

The single leg sleeve is great. It doesn't offer any impact protection, but it is meant to protect your knees from mat burn, etc., which it does perfectly. It also fits very snugly and doesn't fall off.

I'm thinking about getting a sleeve of this type (no bulky pad) but the ones I've seen are too lose and slide down your leg too much. Would this sleeve be tight enough on someone with skinnier legs?

This sleeve is perfect if you are interested in a sleeve without any padding or that is not bulky. After a while majority of knee pads or sleeves eventually will begin to slide down due to over use. The material stretches out over time, but this knee sleeve be able to work for you.
