The coaches and I can't seem to keep this attached to the headgear. How is it supposed to attach exactly ?
The haircap should have two little openings on left and right side. Put the hair cap on, make sure two pockets are visible when putting on the haircap.
Put headgear on. The strap that goes underneath the chin is what goes through the two holes. You put the strap through first hole then continue to the second hole and snap the button to make sure the haircap stays in place.

My daughter is 8 and needs a hair cover. What headgear would you recommend?
A good headgear for a beginner wrestler would be Matman UltraSoft Headgear. The headgear is simple and allows your wrestler to get familiar with wearing headgear along with the haircap.

Since this does not have ear holes cut out does it impart hearing? Also is this compatible with the Morgan headgear?
The hair cap does not impact hearing. The haircap does fit on the Morgan Headgear.

My son has "baby" dreadlocks. Will the Matman #12 Hair Cap accommodate 3-4 inch dreads?? Thank you!
It should be able to fit his dreds. He would have to tuck them in really well into the hair cap. The hair cap is made of Lycra so it'll be able to stretch out.

I have super long hair im wondering which head gear to get the adidas hair cover or the matman har cap? Including using the head gear with the strap holder and the chin strap
I'd highly suggest the Adidas Response headgear. It comes with a two-strap slot holder, chin cup and will work perfectly with this hair cap!

Also would it work with other brands of headgear like Brute or some other brands?
The MatMan Haircap will work with all adult headgear we carry, except for a few MatMan two-strap headgear. Brute has a few headgear on the market today. Which one are you referring to? I'd be more than happy to check its compatibility.

What's the best headgear to accompany this so it won't fall of?! I have an adidas hair cap and an old Asics headgear the kind with velcro that moves around a lot and pretty much as soon as I tie up or anything it comes lose no matter how tight I tie it. What headgears would you recommend particularly with a chin cup I'd be looking for
I hated it when my headgear would move around like that! : ) I'd suggest the Adidas Response. It comes with a chin cup and a two-strap slot holder to keep the straps from moving. It will work perfectly with this haircap as well.

My son is starting wrestling for the first time next week, the school supplies the singlet and headgear. He does not have crazy hair, but as a mom I am wondering for sanitary reasons since it is a school supplied headgear - should I order this anyway?
I apologize for the late reply! : ) I missed this question. To my knowledge the haircap will not provide any sanitary benefits. I know how dirty those school headgear can get. I'd highly recommend disinfecting them after practice with a disinfectant wipe by Kennedy or Defense if you're trying to prevent ringworm and other skin based conditions.

Is this a spandex/lycra material? My daughter was not a huge fan of the feel of the cliff keen cap?
The Cliff Keen and MatMan hair caps are made out of virtually the same material. If your daughter likes her Cliff Keen Haircap, she will not notice a difference if she chooses a MatMan one! : )
